The necessity of KaosPilots
26 mars, 2006
(In swedish).
Recently, I received a horrifying report from Sweden and the mighty Immigration Department, where a female boss in a high position had been attacked by an Iraqi seeking political refuge. Unprovoked. (The refugee was due for a positive response, but things had been dragging on…)
Sweden has issued new laws to bridge the slowness of handling refugees. For starters it’s the families with children who get priority, they have had a long wait. Next on the list are singles, and so on… Bit by bit tensions increase. Unfortunately, safety procedures are not always up to date.
So now this totally unprepared female boss goes and gets it. A fat punch on the jaw and panic spead through the building as the alarm went off, nobody knowing if terrorists were attacking with weapons or what was going on. People really lost it.
The fact that violence is an everyday procedure in the homelands of refugees is not to be denied. – Neither the issue of men hitting women. But does the solution always have to deal with increased security measures, raising the spiral of violence step by step? Most often, refugees are ordinary people that have had some kind of violence done to them.
Clearly, refugees should be met with respect and friendliness, they have already had their share of hardships.
We all recognize the sensation of entering a room and immediately, automatically, just experiencing a good feeling. Whether due to interior decoration such as furnishing, choice of color, light, plants or perhaps the architecture of the building, every entering visitor unconsciously just feels good, (and all that accumulated stress can be relieved).
Nobody doubts that color and light have an impact on human senses. So why not try out an alternative way of dealing with human beings, instead of listening to the luring voices of Bodstrom and other politicians influenced by the U.S.? How about passing on the assignment to the KaosPilots?
